Abstract :
Two 0.9 micron CMOS devices are described which perform multiplexing, demultiplexing, encoding and decoding in transmission equipment. The devices operate at 165 MHz, interface with 100 K ECL I/O, dissipate less than 1 watt each and in total replace 12 bipolar ECL parts
