Abstract
Direct3D is used to set up the visual system of indoor track cycling simulator. The modeling, the world transformation, the view transformation and the projection transformation for rendering the scene are studied. The method to locate the cyclist can be simplified by dividing the track into two parts. One is the straight, the other is the bend. The three transformations are enough for the scene simulation on the straight track, but for the curved section, a special method to locate the rider must be used. Based on 3D scene mesh, the method of collision detection is proposed to solve the problem.
