Abstract
In this paper a method for investigating the fluctuation dynamics in bilayer lipid membranes is described. Instead of using the usual voltage-clamp configuration, measurements are performed by controlling the current which flows through the membrane. The acquisition of long records of voltage fluctuations becomes possible and it can be directly connected to conductance fluctuations due to the dynamics of aqueous pores
