This paper presents historic data and findings about the position of the Mexican seafood industry, looking for paths and trends that would modify traditional fishery, seafood processing, marketing and managerial practices. Furthermore, this study looks for new opportunities to develop business, to enhance operations and to integrate the Mexican government and the private sector
