Abstract :
The pipe manipulator is a way to solve the safety, quality and efficiency problem in the pipe laying construction site, and enhances the technology of pipelaying. The mechanical principle, the photoelectric locating system and the automatic control system of manipulator were studied, and the experimental sample was made, and the experiment was done. According to the test result, the pipelaying manipulator can be applied to product development, and improves the pipelaying work site of people with the machine and the mechanization level of laying pipe.
