Abstract
The reconstruction of surface by measuring data is the link between part measuring and processing, it is also the key course for accurate and fast machining. A method of rapid data processing which represented complicated revolution surfaces by a set of measuring points is developed. After eliminated and revised by rate limiting and curvature monotony, the measuring data is partial curve fitted in generatrix and circle direction, and the machining control point with normal vector is solved. The reconstructed surface is smooth because of local interpolation is adopted, this method is proved to be fast, stable, accurate and efficient by reason of simple model, and the problem of complicated surface reconstruction with measuring data is solved.
