Abstract :
Single-phase full bridge rectifiers are heavily used in low voltage distribution system. It is therefore essential to predict the harmonic levels these converters produce. In this paper, a fast time domain method is presented to solve for the current and voltage harmonics injected by single-phase diode bridge rectifiers. The method is highly accurate and it does not suffer from harmonic truncation errors or aliasing effects that exist in harmonic domain analyses or brute force time domain simulation methods
