  • Abstract
    To control the speed of a gas turbine compressor, Gravdahl and Egeland used a proportional control law. However, this control was not capable of preventing the axial compression system from entering in rotating stall and surge. In this paper, we propose a new model based on Gravdahl-Egeland´s model, to which we add a CCV. The purpose is to have more flexibility in the design of strategies, to control simultaneously the speed and surge/stall, and to accelerate the compressor without stalling it
