Abstract :
In this paper, an algorithm for optimal and dynamic multiresolutional distributed filtering for measurements with arbitrary resolutions is derived. A mapping scheme among different resolution levels is devised. The wavelet transform is employed as a basic tool linking signals at different resolution levels. The effectiveness of the algorithm is demonstrated in an example.
