Abstract :
An inventorying of medical devices at primary health care units in Sweden was performed in 1995. Comparison of the results is made to a similar study performed in 1986. A wider diffusion is noted for most of the studied devices. A group of small private primary care units has been introduced since the previous investigation, with an observed number of devices significantly lower than average. No corresponding effect is observed for small units in public management
