Abstract
This paper analyzes the basic control principle of space vector PWM combined with hysteresis, and applies this method to control the Parallel Active Power Filter (APF). The simulation results through Matlab show that the output compensation current at any time can be real-time tracking the instruction current of the APF to reduce the current compensation error effectively, and eliminate the harmonic currents pollution on the grid caused by nonlinear loads.
