Abstract :
Experimental results have been obtained on a planar dual polarized multioctave flared slot antenna. A design was fabricated and measurements were taken to characterize the performance over an extended frequency band. The input impedance and radiation characteristics of a cavity-backed element are shown to have a bandwidth performance that is increased previously published results.<>
