Abstract :
Summary form only given. A physical model for the analysis of multi stress evaluation testing of insulation systems of electric motors is presented in this paper. By means of this model, the life equations of aging processes are derived, which will provide the technical background for adaptation of multi stress test conditions for life testing of electric motors. By the transformation of aging tests, this paper derives an accelerated life evaluation method of motors by a “step-rise” process. Comparison with normal life evaluation of similar motors provides the agreement. This proves the feasibility of an accelerated evaluation method for motors, and illustrates the capability of the “step-rise” process for an accurate accelerated prediction of normal service life of motor insulation systems
