Abstract :
The total theory of plasticity was employed in this paper to analyze the strain and stress of the cold hole-flanging on mid-thick metal sheet. An equation to calculate the lip thickness was introduced. Through comparing the results obtained from the presented equation with experimental values, it found that theoretical and experimental results were in strong agreement with each other.
