Abstract
In the software radio (SWR) area, the parameterization studies become a very important issue. Mainly because it will probably decrease the size of the software to be downloaded, and also because it will decrease the runtime of the software execution. In this context we show that the fast Fourier transform (FFT), could be considered as a basic object for most of the receiver functions. After having described almost all the necessary functions of current receivers, we present possible realization in the frequency domain (FD) of these functions, using the FFT.
