Abstract :
The energy industry technology innovation (EITI) was defined and classified into several types on the base of energy technology history and its characteristics. Then, according to the energy industry features in China and current international circumstances, the six factors which affected the energy industry in China to do technology innovation were got and their characteristics were that both per-capita resources was less and its proportion of high quality was low, the energy efficiency is urgent to improve, environment issues caused by energy was urgent to be improved, fluctuations in prices caused the renewable energy technology feasible, industrial interactive growing, and tiny history events.
