The Implementation of remote digital video monitoring technology in the construction projects

The implementation of digital video monitoring based on internet has been rapidly applied and developed video monitoring technology. This technology provides a long-distance real-time monitoring in a simple, realistic and safe way, and it also can lay a solid foundation for the video monitoring in all levels of works. In this paper, the present status and development of video monitoring technology are introduced and shown to illustrate how to use this technology via Internet to realize remote real-time monitoring the construction projects on the site located in long-distance and different places. It has proven that the application of this monitoring technology is not only feasible but also effective and reliable.
