  • Abstract
Distribution of electrohydrodynamic flow velocities in a system of electrode edges (wire) over a plate is described. Tiny gas bubbles (10-50 μm), as inclusions for visualizations, are used. Special investigations show that the error caused by bubbles is not more than 5%. The conductivity of liquid is invariant. The high limit of the velocity range reached 2-5 m/s. A special program for processing video records of EHD flows was elaborated. This program allow construction of velocity fields in a two-dimensional plot. Vector fields of velocities in mixture of transformer oil with butanol under different voltage are described
