Abstract :
A rational estimation of the scale of construction of rural highways is the premise to reduce the gap between urban and rural areas and to unify development of rural and urban areas. Via the classification of various rural highway nodes and the estimation of the rational scale of construction of rural highway in different methods, convenient condition could be provided by the rational scale of construction of rural areas for regional residents to satisfy their basic demands of production and life. In the end, taking 12th Five-Year Plan of Jiangsu rural highways for example, the estimation of the scale of Jiangsu rural highways is given in this paper.
