Abstract
Two copolymers of vinylidene fluoride with trifluoroethylene (TrFE 23 mol%) and tetrafluoroethylene (TeFE 20 mol%) were used to prepare the blends. We have studied the crystal structure and textures of the blends using X-ray diffraction, optical microscope and DSC. The ferroelectric properties of the blends as a function of Ben composition. Curie point Tc was determined from dielectric measurement. It is found that Tc upon heating is nearly independent of blend compositions, but Tc upon cooling changes to separated transition temperatures, being located near 120°C and 70°C respectively
