Abstract
A novel pulse for intersymbol interference (ISI) free communication in optical intensity channels is presented and examined. The response of a typical diffuse, wireless, optical intensity channel (in pulse amplitude modulated) systems is low-pass and this leads to ISI. The suggested pulse has a better rate of decay and it outperforms the existing "minimum-bandwidth".
