Abstract
A reconfigurable X-band tuner that consists of two shunt stubs has been designed and demonstrated on an organic substrate for the first time. Each stub is sub-divided into three capacitive radial stubs. The preliminary results of the tuner presented here use open and close sections of transmission line as ideal switches. Future implementation of this circuit will use p-i-n diodes as switching elements. Several impedance combinations have been successfully measured and the preliminary results are presented.
