Abstract :
A typical direct LCD backlight module has a stack of diffuser plate, diffusing sheet, brightness enhancement film and diffusing sheet to obtain uniformly diffused light before LC cell. The last diffusing sheet, besides diffusing, may also function to remedy Moire effect. In this study impact of the last diffusing sheet on the Moire effect has been investigated.
