  • Abstract
    Analytical expressions for the determination of transient pipe-ground resistance and its component - insulation resistance - are obtained. The dynamic range of strength values of the magnetic components of the main pipeline field with various conditions of its excitation was analyzed. It is shown that induction sensors satisfy all existing requirements for primary transducers in the nondestructive testing and technical diagnostics of underground pipelines
