Abstract :
The relative dielectric permittivity and the dielectric loss tangent of KH2PO4, KD2PO4, PbWO4, PbMoO4, Al2O3, LiF and KCl single crystals used in laser technique are investigated with the help of the waveguide-dielectric resonances at frequencies of 7 - 12 GHz. The effect of gamma-irradiation with doses up to 2middot105 Gy on the characteristics of crystals is determined . It is observed that pure KH2PO4 and PbMoO4 crystals have high radiation hardness. It is founded that PbWO4 and PbMoO4 single crystals have low microwave losses. It allows using them as high quality resonators, filters and other elements of waveguide technique. The microwave dielectric properties of the crystals measured at 25degC are given.
