Abstract :
The problem of the determination of group velocity and the dispersion coefficient in the distributed vibration sensor of a fibre optic Michelson´s interferometer configuration is considered. The influence of the acoustic wave on the optical wave in a Bragg modulator is described. It is shown that such an interferometer can be used as a distributed highly sensitive sensor of mechanical values (vibration, acoustic wave, pressure, displacement)
