Abstract :
Aimed at problem of Auto meter pointer detection precision, the paper gives a solving plan based on computer vision technology. According to the input parameters provided by Manufacturers, the system can output signal that all kinds of meters need, and detects meter pointers automatically, then outputs result. The system is already applied in detection of CAN BUS digital instrument designed by ourselves. The final test result indicates that the system runs stable, and the function performed is satisfactory.
