  • Abstract
The vessel´s propulsion shaft segment, especially for the propeller shaft, will be elastic deformation, elastic exception and a wide rage of size under stress and temperature, and will have been crept after a long time. The creep rate is dependent on stress, temperature and time. Some measures for decreasing the creep of segments have been proposed, based on the research of the arisen mechanism and process of creep and the harm of the vessel´s propulsion shaft segment.
