Abstract
In this paper a business scenario is considered whereby a wholesaler deploys and manages needed residential equipment for public wireless cells. Connectivity is then sold to retailers of public wireless broadband services. This business model allows the costs of the residential wireless infrastructure serving the public environment to be shared among several parties. The relevant business model is specified and techno-economic results for a concrete business case are presented with a sensitivity analysis to identify the most critical business parameters.
