Flexibility in technology forecasting, planning, and implementation: a two phase idea management study

In this paper, modified idea writing has been used to conceptualize and generate ideas regarding flexibility planning and implementation in the Indian engineering industry. Idea writing is a group process which focuses on a single topic. This is a technique in which face to face interaction among the group is essential. The two phase idea management study summarized in this paper has resulted in the refinement of ideas to deal with the problem of flexibility in technology forecasting, planning and implementation, as well as interrelationships among the issues involved
