Abstract
Voltage sags, transients, and momentary interruption of power together constitute 90% of the power quality problems encountered by typical industrial customers. The series connected dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) are the right devices for these problems with statistically significant protection at greatly reduced cost. A transformer-less and DSP-based DVR proposed in the paper is studied and injects the restoring voltage into power system directly. For quick response, the detecting part and judging part are done by the core TMS20LF2812 slug. To achieve better restoring effect, there is a compromise between the filter and the restoring speed. The results show that the simulation model and the test device are quite matching and the ultimate effect is satisfying.
