Abstract :
The analysis of measuring methods of basic diffraction parameters of volume transmission holographic phase grating (HPG) is presented. Similar HPG is considered as new perspective dispersion element for spectral devices. Measure of usability of couple wave theory in harmonic and isotropic approximation for description of the photopolymer HPG was proposed and tested. Precision measuring of space frequency, recording modulation depth and actual thickness of gratings were carried out. The analysis of the physical factors defining smallest value of modulation depth and, accordingly, greatest angular selectivity of transmission HPG and variations of diffraction efficiency maximum in a spectral transparency window of photopolymer were discussed.
