Abstract :
Watermarking appraisement plays an important role in testing the performance of a watermark system. Until now, there is not any comprehensive appraisement method for watermarking algorithms. In this paper, a novel appraisement scheme based on the certainty factor theory is proposed. All of targets or sub-targets which have effect on the performance of watermark are assigned evaluation value to denote their importance, through measuring these values, the merits and drawbacks of watermark algorithms can be computed and compared mutually.
