Abstract
Summary form only given. This research presents a unique, and somewhat unorthodox approach to the study of project management. Its purpose is to develop an integrative, strategic framework for dealing with management of projects in modern organizations. The research is an extension of previous studies and frameworks which proved useful to many leading organizations. The main idea is to exploit the potential of project management through conceptual understanding, comprehensive practices, and wider-based education, and add insight into strategic, cultural, organizational, and operational issues which are often neglected in the current practice and education of project management
