Abstract :
The United States electric utility industry, which is composed of over 3,214 utilities, expends over $20 to $30 billion annually on equipment and construction. The objective of the study presented in this paper was to determine current US utility procurement practices and compare them to a world class standard. The study´s conclusions are outlined by the author
