Abstract
A semi-continuous crystallizer is demonstrated that combines optimally controlled dual-impinging jet mixers with a feedback-controlled stirred tank to achieve a very high degree of control of the crystal size distribution. The design is based on continuous seeding and physical separation and optimization of crystal nucleation and growth.
