Abstract
Various factors which have on influence in increasing the sidelobe levels in symmetrical Cassegrain antennas are highlighted. Also shown are computed and measured values of copol patterns for a 40-ft. Cassegrain antenna. A geometric optic synthesis method was adapted to shape the profile of this dual-reflector system.<>
