Abstract :
The CRIMNO criterion is extended to the case of fractionally spaced blind equalization. Simulation results show that the fractionally spaced CRIMNO algorithm, especially its adaptive version, converges faster than the synchronous CRIMNO algorithm, and faster than the fractionally spaced Goddard (1980) CMA algorithm. Insights into why the fractionally spaced blind equalization algorithm has faster convergence are given
