Abstract :
Due to wildly application in civil engineering and industry building, the safety requirement of outer wall external thermal insulating system is obliged. Based on the present standard of tapestry brick of construction engineering in China, the adhesive strength tests for the outer wall have been carried out. Due to the tests of one EPS external thermal insulating system, we introduce a new elastic damage modelling to describe the main behavior of relevant materials at traction state. In this paper, numerical simulation of this system is presented. We draw the conclusion that the numerical simulation has good agreement with experimental result, and numerical simulation can raise the qualitative analysis of designing of EPS external thermal insulating system and choice of materials.
