  • Abstract
Aerogel is popular and commonly used as a composite, an absorbent, a sensor, etc. In this work, supercritical ethanol drying was performed for the preparations of Al2O3, ZrO2 and MgO aerogels from the sol-gel synthesis. The effects of media, temperatures and pressures in high temperature supercritical drying mode on the structures of aerogels were investigated. Furthermore, the cataluminescence properties of three aerogels were studied. Cataluminescence based on aerogels has good repeatability and fast response.
