Abstract :
As an active branch of routing technology, Cluster-based routing protocols have a number of advantages such as topology management with convenient, energy efficient, etc. In this paper, it advanced a new inter-cluster routing algorithm (IRCG) based on gateway. Consider the node transmitting power can not adjustable, the Routing algorithm uses a single hop to intra-cluster communication, and for inter-cluster communication, it takes multi-hop way to communicate with the sink node through the cluster head and the gateway points elected to build the reverse aggregation tree. Simulation results show that the protocol achieves better results in enhancing system lifetime than LEACH.
