Abstract :
Summary form only given. This report describes the project of developing the Loyola Marymount University (LMU) Center for Technology Management and Total Quality (TM/TQ) in Poland during 1995-1997. The goal of the project was to assist in making Polish industry more competitive in world markets by transferring TM/TQ skills to Polish managers and educators. The short-term objective, for the first two years, was to establish the Center and to “train the trainers”, focusing on TM/TQ as applied to the Baltic industries in Poland. The long-term objective was to make the Center a self-sufficient training entity for disseminating TM/TQ skills to Polish industry, managers, students, and faculty
