Abstract
The electrocardiogram (ECG) is one of the popular methods which are used for understanding the electrical stimulus in the heart. But the resulting ECG depends on the morphology and conductivity of the body which varies for different people. The purpose of this study was finding a method for deriving the cardiac stimulus from the ECG, independent of conductivity. The authors found that the Rate of the Area Variation with Time (RAVT) of the exciting wave front projected on the ECG does not depend on conductivity, and they developed the extraction method for RAVT
