Abstract :
This paper focuses on the development of a fuzzy expert system development shell. The system can be used directly by the domain expert to develop fuzzy systems for diagnostic or control applications. The need of a knowledge engineer in the development process is minimized by the use of the proposed system. General purpose data structures are suggested and discussed, which help in achieving these objectives
