Abstract
The authors propose a method for measurement of magnetic fields with the help of a HTSC (high temperature superconductor) based sensor in conjunction with a microcomputer. The same sensor may be used for monitoring current in a circuit under the influence of a controlled magnetic field acting perpendicular to the direction of the current flow. The theoretical basis is discussed. The system hardware, software, and operational principles are outlined.<>
