Abstract :
In the traditional utility-based scheduling research, all the network traffics were divided into such categories as VOIP, IPTV, TCP and HTTP, applications of which were not differentiated, resulting in the loss of both fairness among applications and utility maximization of the network. In order to solve this problem, applications for each category of traffics are identified as those of charge or no charge. Hence, a net utility maximization based scheduling model is established to provide the appropriate algorithm. Finally, the validity of the algorithm is verified through simulated experiment.
