Proposed Academic Cloud Computing for Saudi Universities and Higher Institutes

Internet was contributed to widespread of Elearning and D-learning. However, that is associated with phone land and desktop computer. Then appeared mobile phone and that helped for mobile learning. New concepts are appeared like virtual class and virtual students. As well as using most people web services in their daily transaction like buying and selling, which contributed to the spread and availability of the internet services everywhere. The significant expansion in the use of the internet has led to the emergence of new generation of computing called cloud computing. This paper investigated proposal of developed cloud computing for university and colleges in Saudi Arabia to support E-learning and D-learning of higher education. Universities can benefit of cloud computing services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS). Cloud computing can provided to reduced cost and time maintenance. For several reasons such as internet provides, cheap cost and spread of mobile devices building cloud computing can be success.
