Abstract :
With the development of multiresolution representation of 3D models, multiresolution analysis provides a new way to research of mesh watermarking. As for the subdivision surface models available at present and those which can be converted into subdivision surface representation, this paper proposed a new watermarking method by modifying the vertex coordinates slightly using detail coefficient that was calculated when models are simplified. The watermark is accumulated and saved at control mesh, keeping with the feature of a model, through it, the amount of data of watermarked model decreased and the transmission efficiency improved.
