Abstract :
Raster format data, mainly images and digital elevation models, is a very important spatial data source. In this paper, we analyzed the storage and management technology of spatial database at present and designed an extensible integration platform architecture which can manage T-level data and massive multi-resolution and multi-band image data, based on object-relational database technology. We also described the design and implementation method for large-scale multi-source image database management system. It´s great significance in reasonable and effective management for large-scale multi-source mage data.
