Abstract
This paper describes modelling of spot-focusing corrugated horn lens antennas operating in the microwave band for non-destructive measurement applications. A graphical approach based on the fundamental Gaussian mode technique is proposed which enables the design of a corrugated horn and its lens in function with spot-focusing distance and desired waist size. The presented charts have been used for the design of spot-focusing corrugated horns operating in C, X, Ku and Ka bands with an incontestable success.<>
